The weather here’s getting rainy again. I embrace the rain, especially since I have a pair of super cute Burberry rain boots to wear and romp around in when it pours. Last night Sam cooked dinner, stir-frying in the sound of rain. Unfortunately the rain also makes it so that the idiots and imbeciles come out in droves. I was stuck driving 40 miles an hour on northbound 101 today. Why? Because people don’t know how to drive. 4 lanes. I had 4 lanes well technically, 3 but there was no way around these idiots. Lane 1, carpool – nope can’t sneak in there. Lane 2 – stupid pickup truck with a refrigerator in its flatbed driving at 40 mph. Lane 3 – Fedex truck playing turtle and hare with Pickup-Truck-W/-Fridge in Lane 2. I glanced over to Lane 4. In the far far right lane, there was a Uhaul chugging along in the blind spot of the Fedex Truck. What was ahead of said trucks and idiots? NOTHING. Wide open lanes with no cars. What was behind this insanity? A large clump of cars with borderline road rage. What’s wrong with this picture? If you’re going to drive the same speed as the car in the lane next to you, then move over!!
I guess it must be a pretty crummy day. Jenn and I went and checked out a different Mediterranean place for lunch. I’m regretting not going to our regular place. Yelp… you let me down. Your 4.5 stars and “Yelp Loves Us” stickers could not mask the disappointment I had during lunch. I’m heading back to Tartousa in a heartbeat. Yeche! Down with fake yelpers giving 5 star reviews!
Time to pull on the rain boots and splash in some puddles to make myself feel better.
