I heart Pixar. Of all of the movies they’ve made, my favorites are still Cars, Monsters Inc., and Wall-E. A few years ago for Christmas, Sam bought me two little Wall-E toys. It was also the same time I got my D300 and I had a lot of fun putting my Wall-E’s in funny poses. 
After a quick detour, we made it up to Oakland in fairly good time. Sam’s car suffered a chip in his windshield and we realized why we hate driving on 880 – the road conditions are horrendous! We got up to the museum and found a looooong line. 
Sam dropped me off and I got in line while he found parking.
The museum didn’t impress me but the actual Pixar exhibit was adorable. It was fairly crowded but the images/sculptures/exhibits were endearing and beautiful. Afterward, we hit up a Chinese restaurant I found on my Yelp app.
We ordered the chive and pork dumplings (it came with their house special sauce)
